heritage

Is it taboo to be proud of your heritage?

Not if you're brown, but what if you're not brown? Sit down then. This topic isn't for you. You're not allowed to be proud of who you are if you're white.

Just joking.

I think heritage is very important. No matter who you are. Being proud of that heritage is great. It allows you to bond more with your tribe, to share stories and experiences, to want to produce more progeny. All very important. You pride yourself in what you know because what else would you do? What life would you have attacking your very own people? Favoring another tribe over yours? That sounds like a living hell.

There is nothing wrong with liking your culture, or your traditional food. Or your traditions and your people.

That is your tribe, why would you go against your tribe?

I am very proud of my heritage. I don't see anything wrong with that. Why should you be ashamed of yours?

Unless your culture involves abhorrent human rights violations, why be ashamed of who you are?
