Life is about more

There is a reason that I have a claim on the preface of my blog. That it is not inherently political. It's because i don't want to be inherently political. I want to live a quiet inconsequential life, I want to raise my children in a peaceful cohesive environment.

I want to have fun, and though I write my thoughts down and recognize that they may not seem cohesive, one has to remember this famous quote by Walt Whitman:

"Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)" — Walt Whitman

I want to say my opinions without them being deemed one side or the other.

Our life is meant to be enjoyed. To sit and watch the birds singing while you drink your hot cup of coffee in the morning in quiet.

To sit at a café with family or a close friend and eat something delicious and of quality while talking about simple unnuanced topics.

To get up early, water plants, feed the animals. Listen to nature and be outside.

To have lots of children, to raise them and enjoy their little moments of growth.

All of this makes life so much more meaningful. It feeds our souls of something that is missing today, something that our modern life does not provide us.

It's spending time with your close family and discussing and talking liberally of all topics.

No worry of offending the other.

Just enjoying each others time, recoutning past events, eating together and enjoying our life.

Seeing as life is so short, we need to be conscious in order to enjoy it.

We need to be mindful and live in it.
